Purpose of committee
The Standards Committee assists in the promotion and maintenance of the standards of conduct of councillors through:
· Assisting the Monitoring Officer in publicising and educating on the application of the Code of Conduct
· Advising and supporting the Monitoring Officer in relation to investigations and allegations as requested
