The Scrutiny Committee holds Cabinet
to account and can review existing policy and recommend changes.
The committee can also look into areas of local concern. The
Council welcomes suggestions for future topics for
consideration.
The Committee does not get involved
with individual cases or minor matters. These should be addressed
through other channels such as the appropriate council department
or local councillor.
